Visitors appreciate the variety of restaurants and bars offering diverse food and drink options, with many highlighting the area's appeal as a perfect spot for unwinding and socializing. While the waterfront generally provides a pleasant ambiance with a mix of lively and chill vibes, feedback often notes the occasional noise from multiple bars playing loud music simultaneously, which can affect the overall experience. Great location to see the sunsets here. Good was good but definitely more expensive than in the city. The waterfront is a great place to relax and enjoy a long walk or just sit and enjoy the views. The atmosphere was good at sundown. I find it has more vibes than the inner city does. It's a short walk to get there from the jetty area. I enjoyed the vibes here. No loud music, so you can sit and talk with whomever you're with and enjoy it. Came here for a drink and a small bite to eat for sunset.
Chill place for dinner, nice view with pacific reef heron. Reasonable price
Numerous restaurants with a wide variety of dishes and drinks. Good offers for happy hour. In the front area with cool music for a great atmosphere especially at sunset. Lots of nice people on the road. A must when visiting KK.
Lots of bars with great views (especially of sunset). Unfortunately they're all playing loud music, so you can always here three different songs at once
KK Waterfront is the perfect spot to unwind in Kota Kinabalu, offering breathtaking sunset views. The golden hues reflecting on the water create a magical backdrop for an evening out. With plenty of bars and restaurants, it’s an ideal place to enjoy a refreshing drink and delicious sundowner snacks while soaking in the lively atmosphere. Must-visit!
Stunning sunset views with plenty of restaurants along the boardwalk to get some nibbles and quench your thirst.
Grill Street is a yakitori place that serves up tasty grilled skewers & a perfect spot to watch gorgeous sunset with a drink in hand. It was a busy night when we were there, a bit of a wait for the food, but we were on vacation, certainly didn't mind.
